Inkodo is a digital notebook app that's powered by WIndows Ink technology. Users can write notes with an integrated digital pen or their fingers across a touchscreen. If you run the app on a device that offers both options, then you'll be free to use them together to further manipulate a page.

In order to make this process as simple as possible, a number of touch gestures come built into Inkodo that allow users the freedom to change sheets and flip through notes. For most people, this will be the biggest attraction to the software. It can replace the need to carry around an actual paper writing tablet, so you won't have to waste any trees while you're going about your daily business. Power users, however, will be more interested in the wide variety of object linking and embedded features that come included with the software.

For instance, you can insert multimedia objects into a document from a number of sources because Inkodo allows you to interact with both images and video. Those who work with audio files or have a collection of soundtrack MP3s can also embed these. Being a Microsoft product, Inkodo is designed to support many of the native formats that have come out of Redmond over the years.

WMA, WMV and other similar formats can all be embedded into an Inkodo drawing with just a few touches of your fingers. The app even supports Windows' built-in flick gesture system, so you can scroll through old notes with ease.
